FOUR STEPS OF DIMENSIONAL CONTROL

Following the 4 steps will insure that a project is designed, fabricated and installed without field rework or modification. DC is the single point of accountability for project accuracy.

1. Project Control System

A high order control system is the foundation of the project design and installation.  The DC crew maintains this system from the start of a project thru installation.

2. Engineering Design Measurements

3D design is proven to be the most efficient design method. Laser measurements provide fast, efficient, cost effective means to insert the as-built directly to CAD. Mistake free and automated.

 3. Fabrication Tolerance Check

Our automated computer comparison to the design insures the accuracy of the fabrication. This is called “BEST FIT”. 

4. Field Layout and Tolerance Check

We make sure new anchor bolt system and foundation are located in tolerance. Our automated system sets and verifies these systems to match the design. We mark out cut lines and match lines for alignment.

Measurement Confidence expands planning capabilities. Maximizing equipment assemblies reduces installation time, elevated welds, scaffolding, and lifting requirements. Our alignment and measurement capabilities will expand confidence and remove uncertainty to explore a more effective plan. We are the single point of accountability for project accuracy.
